Commonly asked questions by data scientists
Kyso supports all your go-to data-science tools like Jupyter and R notebooks, rendered as beautiful data documents. We integrate with git, so whether you use Github, Gitlab or Bitbucket, simply make commits as usual and all updates are reflected on Kyso automatically.
This depends on how you publish your research to Kyso. If you use our Git integration, once a project is published to Kyso, any new commits made to that repository on your VCS will be automatically reflected on the Kyso report by way of a webhook. If you use the Kyso CLI, you simply have to remember to run 'kyso push' from within the same directory as when you first published the project.
The list of technical tools that Kyso integrates with is not fixed, and will continue to expand going forward. We keep a record of all new customer requests in this regard, so be sure to let our support team know what integration you'd like us to work on next!
Democratizing access to data science is Kyso's mission statement. However, we do understand that some organizations still need to categorise and secure some content. These companies can leverage channels and federalized teams to segment user groups and research with access controls.
